Roller Derby is a true classic American past time. Roller Derby has a rich history of evolution and adaptation to reflect social currents. An American-invented contact sport—and historically, a form of sports entertainment—roller derby is based on formation roller skating around an oval wooden banked track. It’s baaaaccckkk. Westgate’s going even bigger, badder, better and louder than last year. In association with Cyclerides.com, the much-anticipated Westgate Bike Night returns to the Plaza March 27 – running ‘til June 26 – every Thursday from 5-9pm. Weekly, hundreds of bikes line Coyotes Boulevard for the biggest bike night in the Valley. The evening’s coupled with great live music , screamin’ deals, and discounts from Westgate merchants.
